Start your weekend off right with a little fun for #FanPhotoFriday! That means it’s time to sit back, relax, kick your shoes off and enjoy fan photos from guests at Sunscape® Resorts & Spas’ Punta Cana locations!
At Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino guests have the opportunity to dive into the Caribbean Sea and experience why Curaçao’s reefs offer some of the best shore diving sites in the world. The natural underwater beauty, pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters urge exploration.
Now you can get up-close-and-personal with this section of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the second largest reef system in the world, even before you plan your getaway! Thanks to the Catlin Seaview Survey, the team spent weeks in Curaçao surveying and photographing the reefs for research. The reef tour will soon be available to view via Google Maps’ “Street View” platform. You can learn more about the Catlin Seaview Survey and see their Curaçao blog posts here!
If you already can’t wait to jump right in and experience this magical natural wonder for yourself, make sure you reserve your Unlimited-Fun® getaway at Sunscape Curaçao. Located just steps away from the reef, PADI certified guests will get one free shore dive per day and non-certified guests can try it out with an introductory scuba course in the pool!
With Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino becoming the first Unlimited-Fun® resort to enter the destination, we want to introduce you to the fun little island in the Southern Caribbean that will be home to the newest Sunscape Resort & Spa! Below are some of the best reasons to visit Curaçao.
With only 22 inches of rain fall a year, Curaçao is an ideal destination to visit year-round!
Undersea National Park
This 1,500-acre national marine park encompasses Curaçao’s underwater terrain from New Port to the island’s southeastern tip. With restrictions on fishing and other intrusions, the park contains Curaçao’s most pristine coral reef and marine environment, as well as numerous ship wrecks, some dating back almost 100 years. Not surprisingly, it is a wonderland of exploration for divers and snorkelers.
The Curaçao Sea Aquarium
The aquarium offers a combination of information, education and interaction. Throughout the day there are several tours and presentations where visitors can watch, touch, and learn about the animals.
Rich in History
The resort is situated in the capital city of Curaçao, Willemstad. This lively port city has a rich history and is one of six UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Caribbean.
We hope you come discover what makes Curaçao the perfect destination!
